Three friends, one dream. Ink & Quill is the much loved brainchild of LeAnne Withrow, Charles Helmholt, and Justin Malone, three strangers who were thrown together by Fate and the U.S. Army and became the best of friends. 

Bonding over the shared trials of life as military journalists was just the beginning. We shared a passion for the written word, a love of good storytelling, and working together. From this melting pot of drive, creativity, and writing know-how, the idea to start a publishing house was born. 

This would be a publishing house like no other. No gatekeeping; no scammy cash-grabs; and no boxing out new and unknown writers. No, Ink & Quill was born to be the everyperson's publisher. The publisher unafraid to give the little guys and the newcomers a chance. 

Now, we bring great stories to the world and help authors build a career, build a following, and hone their craft. 

We're looking for authors who want more than just a transaction, for people who want to grow together as a family and give their best and their all.

Ink & Quill started in late 2022 with three friends, three back catalog books, three new, ready-to-release manuscripts, and a half dozen authors lined up with projects. Now, we're growing every day and we have an in-house editing staff, graphic design team, and more than 25 years of combined writing and publishing experience.
